Who are we?

BLACK SQUARE TEAMWEAR are leading independent suppliers of kit and associated product to sporting clubs in the UK. The bulk, but not all, of our business is carried out in the football sector, at all levels from step 3 to grassroots.

 

Are we an online retailer?

No. It simply doesn’t work for us. Most of our business comes from recommendations from existing customers to new clients. We're not a “sit in the office and wait for you to call“ kind of company. We find our customers like our hassle-free sample and sizing service and constantly find that customers are more relaxed dealing with a person rather than a series of options on a computer screen. We pride ourselves on our relationship with our customers.

 

Are we more expensive than online retailers?

No. Most online retailers show highly discounted kit options as a hook. They then charge higher prices for decoration (badges, sponsors etc) to build their price back up. In fact, we are so confident that we guarantee to beat any written quote. (We are not committing commercial suicide- we are normally cheaper anyway!)

 

Is the work done in-house?

We have our own printing and embroidery facilities but we do use carefully selected top up outside sources when necessary - we find a way to get your order with you when you need it.

 

How do customers pay?

Online retailers take your money when you order. This is one of the biggest complaints about online retailers that our clients have shared with us. You are at their mercy as to when it is delivered and for the quality of decoration you provide. In most cases, we collect the money just before or when we deliver.
